the pane on the left has just been removed from the vinegar bath and the one on the right is after the first clean with a wire brush in the grinder.

I will add some pics of this process without adding comments

WELCOME

WELCOME TO MY BLOG  Through this blog i will show the process of saving this 1964 Morgan 4 /4. The car came to me in reasonable condition although there is a lot of work to be done. As you can see for the pictures i will continue to add there is much rust and damage to the body of the car. When the car was picked up the motor, gearbox, electrics, dash, seats yes basically every thing had been removed from the car. This turned out to be a blessing as it reduced the tear down time.  I have now had the car for 3 weeks and it is basically a chassis a frame and many preserved parts packed away safe until the time they need to be restored and returned to the car. I will show pictures of many of these parts as the posts continue to grow. For now i will post a few pics of where the car is up to at the time of typing this. Please feel free to comment on any posts or ask questions if you have any. Cheers
